(WJLA) - Each of the 32 teams in the National Football League will claim that they have the best fans - a subjective ranking if there ever were one - but not many can claim that their fans caused a seismic event.
Five of them in one night, in fact, when it comes to fans of the Seattle Seahawks.
CNN reports that the fans at CenturyLink Field in Seattle caused at least five temblors during their team's 34-7 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. The strongest of them came in the 1st quarter when the Seahawks returned a fumble for a touchdown.
It's not the first time this has happened - a seismograph recorded the sound of the crowd in 2011 during a playoff game.
