(WJLA) - “Frozen” revives the Disney-animated musical, as Idina Menzel plays a princess with an uncontrollable power to turn everything into ice. At close to $300 million at the box office, “Frozen” finishes 2013 as one of the year’s biggest films.

And because of “Frozen,” you can expect more family-friendly animated musicals to come your way.

Meanwhile, there have been many reports of viewers actually walking out mid-movie during the highly-anticipated “Wolf of Wall Street,” where Leonardo DiCaprio plays an out-of-control stock swindler.

This week brings Mark Wahlberg in “Lone Survivor” as part of a Navy seal team, whose Afghanistan sniper mission gets compromised. The film has one of the most intense battle scenes in recent memory.

The horror series, “Paranormal Activity” only did so-so, and “The Hobbit” fell to third place since making $230 million from its opening day.
