ARLINGTON, Va. (WJLA) - Investigators say an apartment fire in Arlington caused $50,000 dollars' worth of damage.

The three-alarm fire and explosion happened Sunday afternoon at Greenbriar Street in Arlington.

According to the Arlington Fire Department, about two dozen residents were evacuated and one adult was rescued and transported to MedStar.

There's no word on what caused the fire, but investigators say some medical oxygen tanks may have played a part in the spreading of the flames.
