WASHINGTON (WJLA) - The Washington Coliseum in Northeast will play host to a special concert Tuesday night celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles first show on American soil.

John, Paul, George and Ringo first performed in the United States on the Ed Sullivan show but the fab four's first concert wasn't until two days later at the Washington Coliseum. Tuesday night, the coliseum will celebrate the 50th anniversary of that show with a show featuring a Beatles tribute band that will take the stage at 8:31 p.m., the exact time the original concert began five decades ago, and play the exact same set list.
