Man found dead in Anacostia River near 11th street bridge
WASHINGTON (WJLA) - D.C. police and U.S. Park Police are investigating a body found washed up on the bank of the Anacostia River Wednesday morning.
The man's body was found near 1900 Anacostia Drive SE, along a stretch of the river between the 11th street bridge and the Frederick Douglass Bridge. Police said the body is believed to be an adult male in his 40s or 50s. He was found fully clothed with no signs of apparent trauma.
