DC teen attacked after getting of bus
WASHINGTON (WJLA) - A local high school student was assaulted and robbed after leaving school in northwest Washington. Two men attacked the 17-year old girl Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. on Ninth Street.
Sources tell ABC7 the high school student got off of a bus and was walking home when two males came up from behind her, just as she was passing an alleyway. According to the police report, they tackled her to the ground. One of the attackers kissed her and demanded she take off her pants. She refused and fought back. As the two scuffled, her attacker then struck her multiple times with a closed fist on her head.
According to the police report, the aggressive criminal snatched the girl's cellphone out of her hand and took off with his partner. The victim, half covered in mud, managed to get to a neighbor's house and call her mother who immediately called 911.
The victim was left with bruises and scratches.
