The commercial use of facial recognition technology

In December, the Commerce Department announced a series of meetings to develop a voluntary and enforceable code of conduct -- to make sure facial recognition software doesn't violate the Consumer Privacy Bill of Rights.

The first meeting took place last week in Washington D.C.

Craig Spiezle, executive director and president of the Online Trust Alliance, was there. He discussed the effort with Government Matters.
