Maryland to increase tax credits for production companies

(WJLA) - There's good news for "House of Cards" fans. The Maryland senate has voted to increase tax credits that keeps production in the state.

The state senate voted to increase tax credits for production companies from $7.5 to $18 million.

"Media Rights Capital" pushed back its filming schedule for "House of Cards'" third season in anticipation of such a move by lawmakers.
