Several agencies fail the FOIA test
President Obama made big promises regarding transparency -- even before the start of his first term. Since then, Obama has called his time in office "the most transparent administration ever." But a new report finds most agencies continue to struggle with our most fundamental right-to-know law -- the Freedom of Information Act.
Sean Moulton, director of open government policy at the Center for Effective Government, offered a synopsis of that study on Government Matters.
