Starbucks and Oprah create 'Oprah Chai' tea
(WJLA) - There’s a new tool to protect your credit cards – a credit card with a built-in keyboard.
Pittsburgh-based Dynamics, Inc. says you have to enter a personal code with the five buttons on the card in order to purchase something. The middle six digits of the credit card number appear on a blank screen after the correct code is entered – which makes it a little less worrisome if you ever lose your card.
The product will be available later this year.
Amazon is expected to begin selling a streaming video device next month, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Tech news website Tech-Crunch suggests that the device may also be a game-streaming service.
Amazon has not yet made an official announcement about the device.
In other news, Oprah has teamed up with Starbucks to roll out her own brand of tea – called Oprah Chai Tea. Starbucks CEO Howard Shultz says the idea was a no-brainer the pair had at a recent wedding.
Oprah Chai features an infusion of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and cloves – which you can start drinking on April 29.
All proceeds from tea sales will go to charities that help youth education.
And in additional Starbucks news, you can soon start ordering beer and wine in the evenings, as the company says it is looking to expand alcohol sales to thousands of select stores in the next couple of years.
