Four candidates vie for seat on Arlington County Board in special election Tuesday
ARLINGTON, Va. (WJLA) - Voters will pick a new member of the Arlington County Board of Supervisors in a special election Tuesday.
The winner will replace the empty seat on the five-member board, vacated by Chris Zimmerman when he retired in February.
Four candidates vie for the seat - Democrat Alan E. Howze, Independent Stephen W.C. Holbrook, Independent Green Party member Janet H. Murphy, and Independent John E. Vihstadt.
Party affiliations are not listed on the ballot.

Polls are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at regular locations.
