Man dies in early morning crash in Loudoun County
LEESBURG, Va.- Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that happened Saturday in Loudoun County, a Virginia State Police spokesperson said.
Forty-five-year-old Todd Philomont of Virgina, was the only person involved in the crash. He died at the scene.
A state police trooper responded at 12:18 a.m. to the crash scene, located on Route 7 just beyond Yellow Schoolhouse Road.
A pickup truck driven by Philomont was traveling along Route 7 when it ran off the right side of the road and into a ditch where it overturned
The driver wasn’t restrained and was partially ejected from the vehicle, state police said.
Speed was a factor in the crash.
