This month, a computer bug by the indelicate name of Heartbleed sparked major security concerns across the internet. It wreaked havoc on a widely-used encryption technology called OpenSSL.

Allan Friedman, author of the book Cybersecurity and CyberWar: What Everyone Needs to Know, offered a crash course on Heartbleed for Government Matters.
