Two dogs transported to hospital after fire in Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA. (WJLA) - Two dogs had to be transported to local animal hospitals to be treated for smoke inhalation Thursday after a fire broke out in an Arlington home.

Fire officials said a kitchen fire spread to the attic in the single-family home in the 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard.

There were no human injuries.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
