Cars, signs vandalized in northwest D.C.
WASHINGTON (AP) - Residents of a northwest Washington neighborhood say someone has been scribbling on cars and signs with a black marker.
Radio station WTOP reports someone tagged several cars with the initials "MCV" or "MOV." A stop sign and a police speed indicator were also targets.
The vandal or vandals last struck in the middle of last week in the area of 13th Street NW and Alaska Avenue.
Police say they are looking into one report of vandalism in the neighborhood.
