An 11-year-old boy went missing at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. He attended D.C. Prep Edgewood Middle Campus in Northeast.
According to his guardian, Tyrell Carter may have had an allergic reaction, and after his face puffed up, other children started to make fun of him and that is when he may have run off.
Carter was supposed to get picked up, but instead decided to start walking. Several family members are on the scene in D.C., as well as police.
According to an MPD press release:
Carter is described as a black male, 4’11” in height, weighing approximately 80 pounds, light complexion, brown eyes, and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a sky blue shirt D.C. Prep School uniform shirt with DC Prep logo on the front, dark blue uniform pants, and dark brown shoes.
