BAD LADIES: And a trending video, per the Los Angeles Times, “ “Somethin' Bad," the just-released video for Miranda Lambert’s duet with Carrie Underwood, is heating things up online, much as the single has done on country radio — not surprising given the individual firepower of the two country stars. But the collaboration was anything but a slam dunk. There was a time after Lambert asked Underwood to join her on the track that she was convinced the answer would be no.

“ “I was nervous,” Lambert told Pop & Hiss recently. “After I sent her the track, she wanted to live with it for a few minutes, and rightly so.” For a few tense days, the 30-year-old Texan had convinced herself that Underwood wasn’t interested. Then came the reply. “She was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it!’ ” Lambert said.” http://lat.ms/1pH0bLU

LaBEOUF BUSTED: Play it again, Sam, per Variety, “Is Shia LaBeouf “Sorry” or just plain sorry? On Thursday night, the 28 year-old actor was arrested at the Broadway musical “Cabaret” in New York for raucous behavior. He was later booked and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

“Police said the “Transformers” actor was smoking inside the Studio 54 theater and acting “loud and disruptive” during the first act of the Tony-nominated musical starring Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming. Law enforcement officials handcuffed the thesp during intermission and escorted him out of the venue.” http://bit.ly/1yT25iO

MEANWHILE: There’s this, per TMZ, “Before Shia LaBeouf got arrested and thrown out of a Broadway show ... he argued with a homeless guy on the streets of New York ... over a hat. According to an eyewitness, a few hours before his arrest ... Shia confronted a homeless guy on the street. It appeared to the witness as if Shia thought the hat was his and Shia was trying to get it back.” http://bit.ly/1pHmh0S

Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy weren’t letting news of their shock departure from the popular daytime TV show get them down on Thursday, June 26, as they shared a snap of themselves, smiling brightly and posing with McCarthy’s finace Donny Wahlberg, via Instagram.

“. . .News of the co-hosts' departures broke on Thursday. McCarthy and Shepherd's departures leave Whoopi Goldberg as the sole remaining cast member, following the talk show creator, Barbara Walters' retirement in May. HAIM: Of a new album, per Rolling Stone, “Fans may not have to wait long for Haim’s second album, as singer and guitarist Alana Haim revealed that the Los Angeles sister trio’s next LP is already underway. JEFF KOONS: Good read, per the New York Times, “There are so many strange, disconcerting aspects to Jeff Koons, his art and his career that it is hard to quite know how to approach his first New York retrospective, the Whitney Museum of American Art’s largest survey devoted to a single artist.

“First there are the notorious sex pictures from his “Made in Heaven” series of 1989-91, big paintings printed in oil inks on canvas that depict the artist in stagy foreplay, and beyond, with his wife then, the angelic Ilona Staller, known in her porn-star days as La Cicciolina. There is the automaton-like presence of the artist himself, as freakish as Andy Warhol, but far wordier, seemingly more extroverted and given to a slightly nonsensical Koonsspeak that casts him as the truest believer in a cult of his own invention. Like his art, he is completely sincere.” http://nyti.ms/UO5KhZ
