Great-grandmother marks nine decades on earth by skydiving

(WJLA) - Most 90-year-olds close the gate on risk, but Evelyn Marshall is not that kind of woman. She’s flinging it wide open, tossing caution out the door as she throws herself into the clouds.

On her special day, instead of unwrapping gifts, it is the plume of a parachute that serves as a present – as Evelyn marks nine decades on the earth, from 14,000 feet above it.

And down on solid ground in Bealeton, a crowd watches as the daredevil great-grandmother makes her third fall from the sky.
