Meredith S. Wyatt, a 23-year-old man, has been charged by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office with five counts of simple assault.

The suspect was identified on June 2 after he was connected to an assault that occurred at a grocery store in the 22300 block of S. Sterling Boulevard.

In this case, a 27-year-old female was in a store when she was reportedly approached by an unknown male. The two briefly talked, and then the woman walked away.

The man then allegedly grabbed the woman inappropriately from behind, prompting her to confront him verbally and then walk away again. The man touched her again.

The suspect was later identified and taken into custody on two counts of simple assault for the incident in the grocery store.

Further investigation connected Wyatt to two other incidents of assault that occurred at the Dulles Town Center.

The first incident was reported on May 14, when a 62-year-old female was inside a women's bathroom at the Dulles Town Center when a man inappropriately touched her from an adjacent stall. The male then fled the bathroom.

A second incident was reported at 11:30 a.m. on May 30, when a 16-year-old female was in a stall inside a women's bathroom in the mall when a man reached underneath the stall and grabbed her. The subject left after the teenager screamed.

Wyatt was also charged in connection with a May 25 assault, during which a 57-year-old woman was walking in the 200 block of W. Holly Avenue around 4 p.m. when she was grabbed from behind.

In all, Wyatt is charged with five counts of simple assault, and he remains held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
