In the 17-minute video released Wednesday morning, you can see the dramatic end to Bergdahl's five years in captivity - but many are questioning how he got there in the first place.

Even his fellow soldiers say he's far from a hero, accusing him of being a deserter. But speaking in Brussels this morning, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is asking Americans to not jump to conclusions until all of the facts come out.

"It's not in the interests of anyone - and certainly, I think, a bit unfair to Sgt.
Bergdahl's family and to him - to presume anything," Hagel said. "We don't do that in the United States."

At least six soldiers were killed in subsequent searches for Sgt. Bergdahl, according to soldiers involved in the operations to find him.

The Army may pursue an investigation that could lead to desertion or other charges against Bergdahl.
