DDOT bridge and tunnel inspection schedule for July 7-11

WASHINGTON (WJLA) - The Washington D.C. department of transportation will perform safety inspections on four of the city's bridges and tunnels over the next week.

The inspections, which will occur July 7, 8 and 11, will be performed between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in order to avoid impacting the morning and evening rush hours. A single lane of traffic will be closed during those inspections.

A full list of the inspections from the District Department of Transportation, as well as their accompanying closures, is below:

H Street Overpass over Washington Terminal Yard at Union Station (Hopscotch Bridge) - Monday, July 7, 2014
There will be alternating right-shoulder closures of northbound and southbound Second Street, NE under H Street, followed by alternating right-shoulder closures of northbound and southbound First Street, NE under H Street.

Ramps Connecting Roosevelt Bridge to Constitution Avenue NW and the Inner Loop - Monday, July 7, 2014
There will be a right-lane closure of the ramp from Constitution Avenue, NW to westbound Roosevelt Bridge (I-66), followed by a left-lane closure of the ramp from eastbound Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) toward Rock Creek Parkway and Ohio Drive, SW.
Tuesday, July 8, 2014
There will be a right-lane closure of eastbound Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) ramp to Constitution Avenue, NW, followed by a left-lane closure of the eastbound Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) ramp to Constitution Avenue, NW.

 

Anacostia Freeway (I-295) over Firth Sterling Avenue and CSX Railroad Tracks - Friday, July 11, 2014
There will be a right-lane closure of the southbound Anacostia Freeway (I-295) over Firth Sterling Avenue and the CSX Railroad tracks.
