Frederick woman charged with stealing from Giant Eagle after concealing items in baby stroller

FREDERICK, Md. (WJLA) – A 27-year-old Frederick woman is facing a criminal charge after she allegedly robbed a Giant Eagle grocery store by concealing items in a baby stroller on Tuesday.

Frederick Police officers responded to the Giant Eagle at 1275 W. Patrick St. on July 15 for a report of a theft. A loss prevention officer in the store observed a woman, later identified as Precious Danielle Parker, of the 100 block of Willowdale Drive, concealing items under her clothing before exiting the store without paying for them.

Officers Ashley Antczak and Christopher Prior contacted Parker after she left the store. Items belonging to Giant Eagle were discovered underneath her clothing, in her purse, and in a baby stroller she was pushing.

Parker was charged with one count of Theft Under $100. Prior to being released, she was also issued a Maryland Uniform Criminal Citation.
