Queshawn Sexton, 20, dies following crash between motorcycle, SUV in SE Thursday

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJLA) - The driver of a motorcycle that collided with an SUV in Southeast Thursday has died.

According to the D.C. Fire Department, the accident between a vehicle and motorcycle occurred near 16th Street and Good Hope Road SE just after 11 a.m. Thursday.

D.C. police said Friday that an SUV was turning left from Good Hope Road onto southbound 16th Street SE when a motorcycle traveling east on Good Hope Road SE collided with the SUV.

Good Hope Road was closed down for hours following the crash as officials investigated.

The motorcyclist has been identified as 20-year-old Queshawn Sexton of Southeast D.C.

Sexton was initially transported to the hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.
