WASHINGTON (WJLA) -- For the second time in under a week, police have arrested a man for carrying a loaded handgun without a license on Capitol Hill.
Investigators said Ronald Prestige was arrested Wednesday after he was searched at the entrance of the Cannon House Office Building.
Prestige is not a Capitol Hill staffer, unlike the case last Friday when a staffer was arrested after police said they found a nine millimeter handgun during a search - which was also at the Cannon Building.
Ryan Shucard, who has since pleaded not guilty to a felony weapons charge in D.C. Superior Court, is the press secretary for Pennsylvania congressman Tom Marino.
Shucard is currently free on his own recognizance and has been placed on unpaid leave from his job.
