Both of Shawn Cole's cars parked in front of his house were destroyed, but he was taking it all in stride.

"I'm a little bit frustrated. It's going to take some time to sort out but it's part of life," he said. "I guess we are in the market for two new cars."

Crews spent the better part of the day lifting up and cutting up the tree, while neighbors passed by and took photos of it.

Power was restored by midday to those who lost it when the tree took down power lines too when it fell.
