Drunk flight passenger slaps child, demands cigarettes, throws prosthetic leg at crew
The 48-year-old un-named woman was on a flight from Enfindha, Tunisia bound for Edinburgh, Scotland when fellow passengers noticed her becoming unruly.
Soon after, "the woman started shouting, 'I want cigarettes' and demanding a parachute to jump off the plane," passenger John Smith told the Edinburgh Evening News of the incident, which happened last week.
Smith also said that the woman slapped a young girl in a neighboring seat before unfastening her prosthetic leg and swinging it at flight attendants. "They took [her prosthetic leg] off her, but she started kicking them with her good leg," said Smith.
The crew managed to restrain her and put her in handcuffs while the pilot diverted the plane and made an emergency landing at Gatwick, England.
She was then escorted from the plane by police officers.
