Industry reacts to RFP-IT
The effort to Reform Federal Procurement of Information Technology (RFP-IT) picked up a lot of steam after the troubled rollout of HealthCare.gov.
In January, a pair of House Democrats -- Rep. Anna Eshoo (Calif.) and Rep. Gerry Connolly (Va.) -- released a draft of that bill. They consulted with public- and private-sector experts for six months, then unveiled version 2.0 before the August recess.
