Hope you see something good at the movies...

The Grand Budapest Hotel - Wes Anderson's delightful all-star murder mystery story within a story

3 1/2 STARS

The Fault in Our Stars - Teen cancer patients fall in love and learn about loss

Chef - Jon Favreau as a chef who finds his mojo in a food truck

Belle - Fascinating story of mixed race beauty in pre-revolutionary England

X-Men Days of Future Past - Back to the future to save the world

22 Jump Street - Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as undercover cops. Hilarious sequel

How to Train Your Dragon 2 - Brilliant 3D animated adventure of a boy and his dragon

Maleficent - Angelina Jolie makes an awesome wicked witch

Million Dollar Arm - Sports agent recruits pitchers in India. "Jerry Maguire" meets "Slumdog Millionaire" - with Jon Hamm. A little long but winning.

The Amazing Spider-man 2 - Andrew Garfield as the superhero in love with Emma Stone

2 1/2 STARS

Think Like a Man 2 - Comedy continues with Kevin Hart and friends

Obvious Child (R) - Jenny Slate in a comedy about abortion.  Her R rated stand-up may be alittle much for some -- but other moments ring true

Edge of Tomorrow - Tom Cruise surprisingly good in this sci-fi time travel adventure

The Grand Seduction - French Canadian remake of "Doc Hollywood"

Blended - Better than expected Adam Sandler comedy with Drew Barrymore

Godzilla - Great monsters but talky acting. The Japanese monster fights prehistoric creatures out to harm the human race

Neighbors - Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne feud with fraternity boys next door

The Signal - Lawrence Fishburne lends his name to this sci-fi mash up.  Most people walked out saying - What the heck was that???

A Million Ways to Die in the West - Seth MacFaralane's cowboy falls flat too much of the time
