Washington Technology magazine reports the world of "cloud computing has quickly matured to the point that it is on the threshold of becoming a mainstream source of technology for government agencies."

According to a recent survey by the Government Information Group, four in 10 government agencies use cloud computing.

Jay Tansing -- managing director of Acumen Solutions public sector -- discussed the cloud, outlined its applications for government agencies, and addressed cybersecurity concerns on Capital Insider.
