The nation's top lobbying entities are spending less money, and many groups are paying less for government interests. More than two-thirds of the top 100 lobbying powerhouses have scaled back, but guns, pharmaceutical, and agricultural groups are spending more.

Dave Levinthal, senior reporter with the Center for Public Integrity, discusses the reasons for the decrease with Capital Insider.
