Annual Pancake Races at the Washington National Cathedral

Each year, the Washington National Cathedral celebrates the origin of the pancake with a series of pancake flipping races...and the grand prize is the golden skillet!

The Reverend Canon Jan Naylor Cope, vicar at the Washington National Cathedral, came on the show to talk about the Annual Pancake Races, which take place every year on Shrove Tuesday at the cathedral.
