The 48th annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival starts up again this Wednesday. It's a free event on the National Mall where visitors can learn about the traditions of various cultures.

Preston Scott, the curator of the Kenya: Mambo Poa Program at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, joined us to discuss the event. He was joined by members of the musical group, Gargar, who performed live on the show.
