Today on NewsTalk, Rep. Frank Wolf talked about the possibility that deep cuts in federal spending – so called “sequestration” – will be triggered by Congress’s failure to pass a budget. We also discussed gridlock in Washington, violence in Syria and climate change. We then talked with two Maryland lawmakers – Delegates Justin Ross and Heather Mizeur – about this week’s session of the General Assembly. Ross, a Prince George’s Democrat, supports the proposed casino at National Harbor while Mizeur, a Montgomery Democrat, opposes it.
