Today on NewsTalk, we spoke with Tim Craig of The Washington Post about the trouble surrounding DC Councilman Michael A. Brown and the impact it could have on his reelection campaign. This week we learned Brown has had his license suspended several times for various reasons.
Then, some controversial remarks made by presidential hopeful Mitt Romney caught on tape. In a room full of wealthy donors the candidate said nearly half of all Americans believe they are "victims" entitled to government support. In a late-night press conference, Romney admitted that statement and others he made that night were "inelegant." Politico's Ginger Gibson joined us for more that.
And, the DC jail has introduced a new visitation system...video conferencing. Terry Lynch of the Downtown Cluster of Congregations explained why some people are upset about the new arrangement.
