Today on NewsTalk we discussed DC's parking problems with a panel and talked with Rans Heimer about Verizon's 911 failures.

Today on NewsTalk, we previewed Tuesday’s DC Parking Summit, an event intended to solicit ideas for easing the city’s parking squeeze. Our panel consisted of David Alpert of Greater Greater Washington, Cheryl Cort of the Coalition for Smarter Growth and Alex Block of the Downtown BID.

In our second half hour, Montgomery County Councilman Hans Riemer and Arlington Supervisor Jay Fisette talked about the region’s history of 911 service outages.
