McCartney on politics; Va. road funding; Construction hiring

Today on NewsTalk, we got Washington Post columnist Robert McCartney’s take on a host of local issues, including the paper’s report that the Gray campaign promised donors their names wouldn’t get reported to agency that oversees city elections. We also discussed the nomination of Greg Hall to the Maryland General Assembly, Doug Duncan’s comeback bid and former-Rep. Tom Perriello’s decision not to run for Governor.

Bob Chase of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance discussed Gov. McDonnell’s pledge to general new road and transit funding.

And Tommy Cafcas of Good Jobs First talked about the challenge of getting area construction firms to hire DC residents.
