Long election lines; Death penalty repeal

Remember those long lines on election day? Some voters in Virginia waited more than four hours to cast a ballot. Today on NewsTalk, Rep. Gerry Connolly and Del. Luke Torian talked about a proposal to make future elections run more smoothly. We also talked about Gov. McDonnell’s transportation proposal and the Republicans’ controversial redistricting bill.

Then, Sen. Brian Frosh talked about Gov. Martin O’Malley’s bid to get Maryland to abolish the death penalty. Also on the agenda: gun control and transportation funding.
