Today on NewsTalk we heard from two Washington Animal Rescue League volunteers who brought homeless animals back from New York.

And, With former DC schools chancellor Michelle Rhee back in the spotlight, we took a look at her legacy at DCPS. Joining us: state board of education member Patrick Mara, former DC Councilman Sekou Biddle, WTOP reporter Mark Segraves and parent activist Suzanne Wells.

In our final segment Ben Raby, reporter for the Washington Capitals Radio Network previewed the Capitals 2013 season.
