A stolen laptop leads to the discovery of a thriving black market. Washington Post reporter Peter Hermann joined us to discuss.

The DC Council approves legislation raising the city's minimum wage. David Catania forms a mayoral exploratory committee. Also, Mayor Gray has a feisty give-and-take with reporters one day after announcing he is a candidate for reelection. We talked with APs Ben Nuckols and WAMU's Patrick Madden.

In our second half hour we looked at the early holiday retail sales numbers and at some of the chaos to hit stores with Jennifer Nycz-Connor of the Washington Business Journal.
