Today on NewsTalk, Washington Nationals manager Davey Johnson has skillfully guided his team to one of the best records in baseball but he’s kept a relatively low profile. We talked with sports journalist Michael Williams about what Johnson brings to the table as the Nats’ skipper.

A civil rights organization has filed a complaint against the Fairfax County Public Schools over the lack of diversity at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. We talked with Tina Hone of the Coalition of the Silence.

And in the wake of County Executive Rushern Baker’s acknowledgement that his wife has early onset dementia, we talked with Medstar Georgetown University Hospital neurologist Scott Turner about the affliction.

A new poll in today's Washington Post underscores the level of frustration being experienced by Pepco customers. A new website created by our first guest, Eric Hensal encourages Montgomery County leaders to think outside the box when it comes to supplying electricity to its residents.

And, Dan Bongino the republican running against Maryland Senator Ben Cardin weighed in on President Obama's "you didn't build that" remarks.

Then, Jodi Balis of the Capital Area Food Bank talked about their new facility and ways to get more bang for your buck when preparing meals.
