Protect yourself and your computer. Basic steps:
1. Never respond to an email asking you to confirm accounts and passwords. Go to the site to directly to login. If you receive such an email forward it to the company or email provider the email pretends to represent.
2. Make sure you have a virus program running at all times. Make sure your subscription is up to date and is constantly updating online for new protections. Also constantly update your operating software.
3. Create two accounts on your computer. An administrator account that requires a password and a separate account for working online. If someone hacks in while you're online won't be able to mess with your computer and take control unless they crack the password.
