Recalls! What do you do?

Don't let this happen to you!

To find out about recalls on your vehicle click here.

To make sure you get notified call your manufacturer and give them you vehicle identification number and address so that you can be notified.

If you suffer a loss as a result of a recall and feel you are owed more than what your insurance company is offering, you can file an additional claim against the manufacturer. You'd have to prove losses associated with the claim.  For example, rental car, additional amounts owing on a vehicle loan etc.

If you learn about a recall on your vehicle take it to a dealer. If they refuse to fix it, report them to the manufacturer. You have to protect yourself.

There was a 7 on your side story about a company that allows people to work from home and after it was investigated, it was found to be a good comapny to work for. I am trying to find that story or info in that company. Can anyone help?

JUDY ZHU
Excuse me but I am a seventeen year old. My family is Asian American. I dont know what to do about this problem but it just really makes me mad. My parents don't know english right so me and my brother always have to answer the phone calls and deal with things. I always get phone calls from this "IC Systems" and they always ask is my "dads name*" home? i say no hes not, she or he asks when hell be home and i say i dont know. They tell me its a really important personal matter and they give me this 1 800 number. Im like what the hell, can you tell me wha tthe matter is? they say no, its illegal to do so. and then the next time they call from "IC systems", they say something about our washington mutual account. i actually have the number they gave me. 1-800-561-5695. me and my brother go online and search up this IC systems because we usually hang up on wierd people. we get concerned because what if it really is real. but i think banks dont usually call your house. if its really THAT important mailing would be more efficient. they called around 4-7. banks close before then dont they? TODAY. they called again my dad WAS home. they ask may i speak to dad*. my brother was smart. he says hold on ill get him on the phone, and tells my dad in chinese to not say anythign until he tells him to. he tells the lady (usually its a man and woman. i think its the same two everytime) he tells the lady to see if anyone else can take the call cuz he cant understand what shes saying. she switches to this man REALLy quick. as if he was waiting next to her in ahouse. i can hear a bunch of people in the background. the man says hi. and my borther takes over and he is pretending to be my dad. he says hi. what is this about. the man says this is regarding to your washington mutual account. this is a very serious matter. you have not paid in four months. for one, my dad ALWAYS Pays. my parents are VERY promt with bills. so then i heard them ask for our account number and some confidential number maybe social security. im like WHAT. we dont give these things over the phone. so my brother hangs up. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. ir ea donline that these people have been bothering other people on their cell phones, and i think they called my cell phone today at school. how do these people keep doing this with out getting caught? Does no one dare speak about these people because they t hink they might be legit? I DONT THINK SO! I AM VERY ANGRY AT THESE RIDICULOUS CALLS Me and my brother have to answer everyday.
