GREAT DAY!
category: Random Thoughts

This has been a great day!  I arrived at the Key Bridge Marriott this morning in time to greet our guests at our ABC7/Toyota High School Athlete of the Week luncheon. We do this every year and I have a ball. This group really seemed to be responsive and enjoy the luncheon. I know that they were a great audience.

Alex Parker, my executive producer, helped me host the luncheon and he was entertaining with the microphone making everyone feel comfortable and at home. He was very funny. I gave a little talk and the athletes and their families were very responsive. And what a scatter sheet........Harvard, North Carolina, Maryland, GW......trust me this was an impressive group. Congratulations to all the award winners and a hearty thanks to all who helped make today possible!

The Nationals looked like the bad news bears tonight against Philadelphia. We have been broadcasting our shows from our suite at Nationals Park and I really do enjoy that. In the shadow of the Nation's Capitol Building, the stadium should be called Politico Park!

How about the UEFA Championship from Moscow? That was extremely competitive, exciting and fun to watch.

Today ends the ratings period in local television and we sure have worked hard for you and you have responded to us....so thanks!!!!!!

What a great Day!

Coach Moody
Tim,

My son Ryan Moody of Stone Bridge, H.S. and my wife had a wonderful time at your luncheon. I wanted to say thank you to you and Alex Parker. Will you be posting video and pictures of this event on your web site?
