A coach's press conference is usually informational, but many times boring. Not today, with Redskins Head Coach Jim Zorn. I don't think he intends to be funny, but he is. At first, he tried to avoid telling the media about the punting situation for next Saturday's game against Carolina. But after stumbling through the answer, Zorn finally admitted it would be Derrick Frost, which drew a lot of laughs. But his best topic was rookie quarterback Colt Brennan. When I asked if he was surprised that Brennan has had so much early success, Zorn said: "After the Buffalo game, you guys said he came back down to earth, now you got him in outerspace". Zorn added, "I don't want to splash the water on him yet." A reference to getting blessed at church.. It's tough to get the full impact of Zorn's humor in a blog. You can hear it for yourself by watching ABC-7 Sports, tonight at 11 o'clock.. I'll say this about Zorn, he's down to earth, brutally honest and has a great sense of humor.. He makes covering the team more fun than usual.
