The Pet Show this week is guaranteed to pull at your heart strings.

Joining us from the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary is Jenny Hubbard. Jenny's daughter Catherine was one of the 26 angels who died on last Dec. 14, when a lone gunman opened fire in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Jenny tells us the story of her beautiful daughter Catherine, and how Catherine's innate love for animals has inspired them to create the Sanctuary in her honor. To learn more about the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary, and how you can help make this family's dream a reality, visit them online at www.theanimalcenter.org or on Facebook.

Stacey Evans, Chair of the Animal Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, catches us up on what's happening in the Maryland legislature as it pertains to animals. Stacey also makes a plea to other attorneys in Maryland to pitch in and help to fight for the rights of our furry, and not so furry, friends. To learn more about Animal Law, check out their website here.

Sandra Navarra returns from the PGSPCA with an Adorable Adoptable named Algernon. This little scruffy dude is sure to catch your eye! Sandra also catches us up on all the cool things PGSPCA has coming up, including their latest adoption shows and low-cost spay neuter clinics.

And finally, our Fur Fix this week comes to you from Nationals Park! The place truly 'went to the dogs' last weekend, and Dr. Katy tells us all about it on one of her latest stories on ABC 7 News.
