Here's a great example of how tricky forecasting around here can sometimes be.

You can see in this GOES image the storm center that brought yesterday's rain just south of Long Island and the left over moisture and the cool air over us.  But then it's just dry enough so parts of southern Maryland are sunny and Fredricksbug is sunny yet much of the immediate metro area is cloudy and cool.  Tricky forecast.  And tomorrow?  Stay tuned.
