Tonight: Increasing Clouds, Cold, Icy Spots | Lows: 20s

Saturday: Mostly Cloudy, Cold | Highs: Mid 30s

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy, Cold, Flurries SE | Highs: Mid 30s

Today will go down as the 15th colder-than-normal day this month at Reagan National Airport, putting this month at 7 degrees below normal. This streak will continue this weekend, with highs in the mid 30s each day under mostly cloudy skies. First things first, though: Tonight will be partly cloudy and cold with lows in the 20s. Melting that occurred through the day will cause some icy spots tomorrow morning, so be careful if you are heading out early.

Clouds will increase through the early morning hours ahead of an area of low pressure gathering over the southeastern states. Highs will continue to reach the mid 30s and winds will be light, so it won't feel that bad outside. Sunday, the low will move off the coast which will continue the cloudy and cool conditions with highs again in the mid 30s. We are thinking at this point there isn't a chance for snow, though a few flurries may be possible through far southern Maryland but more than likely just over the Eastern Shore. Enjoy your weekend.
