Tonight: Mostly Cloudy and Cold ... Lows: 17°-25°
Sunday: Morning Clouds, Afternoon Clearing ... Highs: near 35°
Monday: Mostly Sunny and Chilly … Highs: mid 30s

A strong coastal storm will continue to develop off the North Carolina and Delmarva coast overnight and into Sunday. Movement will be toward the north and east bringing little, if any impact across the metropolitan area. Mostly cloudy sky conditions stay in the forecast tonight with lows falling into the upper teens to lower 20s.

Clouds will dissipate by Sunday afternoon with high temperatures once again in the middle 30s. A fast-moving system, similar to what dropped over an inch of snow on Thursday, will arrive by Tuesday afternoon. The exact location and amount of snow still has to be refined, but this is worth watching over the next couple of days. Latest computer models indicate a winter weather-maker may bring snow back into the forecast Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
