The storm that brought the very heavy wet snow has moved out and in its wake snow totals ranged from a couple of inches southeast to nearly a foot just west of the city. The hefty snow brought down power lines causing widespread outages and lead to unprecedented gridlock on the road.
Sunshine returns today with steady temperatures in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. A fast moving disturbance may bring some light snow again tomorrow, a dusting, and nothing like what we have just experienced. Highs will top out again near 40 under mostly cloudy skies.
The weekend features a mix of clouds with added sunshine by Sunday with seasonable highs in the lower 40s. Next chance of precipitation comes by the middle of next week. Be careful out there and have a great day.
