This Afternoon: Cloudy and Cool
Highs: Near 40 | Wind: S 5 m.p.h.

Clouds will continue to thicken today as an area of low pressure to the south moves towards the region. Highs will be cool, only near the 40 degree mark. Tonight, light precipitation will move in after midnight and it may start as a brief period of freezing rain before changing over to rain. A light glaze is possible in the northwestern suburbs before changing over to rain by sunrise so if you are traveling just take it slow, particularly on bridges and overpasses. Lows tonight will be in the lower 30s.
Saturday will feature cloudy skies along with a continued chance for scattered light showers with highs around the 40 degree mark. Sunday, highs should top out in the mid 40s under partly cloudy skies.
